Dear professional partners, dear colleagues,

the executive board of the Slovak Society of Clinical Biochemistry (SSCB), an organizational unit of the Slovak Medical Society (SMS), would like to invite you to a regular professional event Labkvalita 2025, which will be held on October 5^th – 7^th, 2025 at the Congress Hotel CHOPOK**** in Demänovska Valley in the Low Tatras, Slovakia.

MAIN TOPICS

Vulnerability of the pre-analytical phase (case studies, educational activities)
Internal and external quality control of the analytical phase in the biochemistry laboratory (setting up processes and evaluating results in routine practice)
The level of standardization and harmonization of analytical methods in the biochemical laboratory and beyond (e.g., POCT)
Application of advanced analytical techniques in a biochemical laboratory (routine and special applications, advantages and disadvantages compared to conventional methods
POCT and home testing – ensuring the quality of the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases
The history of clinical biochemistry in the Slovak Republic

POSTER PRESENTATION

Active participation in the event is possible in the form of a poster. Posters will be presented in electronic form, on LCD touch screens, and should be sent in PDF format by September 15^th, 2025 at the latest, to the following address: magula@snzobor.sk

The event is included in the credit system for continuous medical education of the healthcare workers. Registered participants will receive „Certificates of Participation“ with the appropriate amount of CME credits (ARS CME).

Lunch on October 6th will be provided by the event’s general partner. Lunch on October 7th, 2025, at the Chopok**** hotel restaurant must be ordered and paid for in advance. The price of lunch is € 23.

We would like to invite you to the welcome evening/party, which will be held on the opening day of the conference, October 5, 2025. We would also like to draw your attention to the discussion evening, which will be held on October 6, 2025. The price of the ticket for the welcome evening is € 35, and the price of the ticket for the discussion evening is € 30.

TRANSPORTATION

We recommend traveling to the conference by ŽSR trains to the Liptovský Mikuláš station, from where hotel minibus transportation to Hotel Chopok**** will be provided.

During the conference, transportation will be provided for participants from Riverside Hotel***, Bystrina Resort***, and Tri Studničky**** to Hotel Chopok**** before and after the professional program.
